Senior Software Engineer - Backend

We are looking for a .NET Core Backend Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend applications and REST APIs.

The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend modules for our RMS and CRMS applications, while working closely with frontend developers and other members of the development team.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core
  
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API
  
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  
• Understanding of backend application architecture and business logic implementation
  
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  
• Good understanding of SQL, including joins, queries, stored functions/procedures, and query optimization
  
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core / ORM concepts
  
• Understanding of dependency injection, configuration, middleware, and exception handling in ASP.NET Core
  
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and scalable code
  
• Understanding of application debugging, logging, and performance optimization
  
• Working knowledge of Git or similar version-control systems
  
• Basic understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization
  
• Familiarity with coding standards and code-review practices
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend modules for RMS and CRMS applications
  
• Design, develop, test, and maintain REST APIs and backend services
  
• Implement business requirements and application business logic
  
• Develop and optimize database queries and data-access operations
  
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform bug fixing
  
• Coordinate with frontend developers for API integration
  
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical discussions
  
• Perform unit testing and support integration and functional testing
  
• Review and improve existing code for maintainability and performance
  
• Follow established coding standards and development best practices
  
• Ensure appropriate application security, error handling, logging, and performance
  
• Use version-control and code-review processes effectively
  
• Support deployment and post-deployment issue resolution when required
  

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Entity Framework Core
  
• Knowledge of LINQ
  
• Understanding of layered architecture such as Controller → Service → Repository
  
• Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI
  
• Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools
  
• Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
  
• Basic knowledge of asynchronous programming using async/await
  
• Understanding of common design principles such as SOLID
