Senior Software Engineer (C/C++ Engineer)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong
expertise in C/C++ and Python to work on media processing frameworks and
performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands -on experience in
developing and optimizing high -performance software, debugging complex systems,
and designing efficient APIs in Linux environments. This role involves working
on video encoding and decoding technologies and improving performance in
multi -core and parallel processing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop,
  maintain, and optimize high -performance software components using C/C++.
  
• Analyze
  and improve the performance of media codec pipelines, focusing on
  efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Debug
  and optimize code running in multi -threaded and multi -core environments.
  
• Design
  and implement clean, scalable, and maintainable APIs for media processing
  frameworks.
  
• Develop
  and enhance tools for performance profiling, analysis, and optimization.
  
• Collaborate
  with cross -functional teams to integrate and optimize codec solutions.
  
• Ensure
  high standards of code quality, maintainability, and adherence to software
  engineering best practices.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6–10
  years of strong hands -on experience in C/C++ development.
  
• Proficiency
  in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.
  
• Strong
  experience in performance optimization and debugging in multi -core or
  parallel processing environments.
  
• Solid
  experience in Linux system programming.
  
• Familiarity
  with profiling and performance analysis tools such as Valgrind, VTune, or
  similar tools.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands -on
  experience with FFmpeg and/or GStreamer frameworks.
  
• Experience
  working with multimedia pipelines and video processing technologies.
  
• Understanding
  of video encoding and decoding concepts, particularly H.264 and/or HEVC.
