This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack in India.
In this role, you will help design and scale a global B2B SaaS platform that digitizes and automates complex due diligence workflows used by thousands of users worldwide. You will work across the full stack, building robust backend services in Node.js and TypeScript while also contributing to a modern Angular frontend. The role offers strong ownership, with involvement in architecture decisions, system design, and engineering standards rather than just feature delivery. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. The work is highly technical and impactful, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability across a large data-intensive system. This is an opportunity to shape a platform used by global financial and enterprise teams.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.
- Develop and enhance frontend features using Angular, delivering responsive, clean, and user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with design teams.
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs, database schemas, and queries across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases.
- Participate in system design discussions, contributing to architectural decisions and defining technical direction for new features.
- Ensure production reliability by implementing observability, structured logging, health checks, and debugging performance issues across the stack.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices.
- Implement security best practices such as authentication mechanisms, input validation, and rate limiting to protect system integrity.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack exposure in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js with deep understanding of asynchronous and event-driven architecture.
- Solid hands-on experience with Express.js, including middleware, request lifecycle management, and error handling.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, with production experience building scalable backend and frontend systems.
- Proven experience developing Angular applications (v12+) and integrating frontend with backend APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience using Git in collaborative, PR-driven development workflows.
- Nice to have: exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, authentication standards (JWT, OAuth), caching strategies, and observability tools.
