Senior Software Engineer - Java

Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Advises immediate management on project-level issues Guides junior engineers Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend, you'll design and implement backend solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Design and develop scalable backend systems. Optimize system performance and reliability. Mentor junior engineers. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Your way to impact You'll design, develop, and optimize core systems that power millions of transactions daily, directly impacting our customers' experiences and our company's success. 5 + years of backend development experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails) Advanced proficiency in backend development with either Java EE frameworks, including experience with Spring MVC, or Hibernate. Experience designing and implementing RESTful services, focusing on scalability and reliability, using Java. Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) Strong understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with ORM tools. Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems. Knowledge of the payment processing industry and relevant regulations. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Contributions to open-source projects.
