Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with several years of
professional experience in both backend (Java/Scala) and frontend (React,
TypeScript) development, along with strong exposure to cloud technologies
(GCP). The ideal candidate will contribute across the full software development
lifecycle, including system design, coding, testing, and deployment in a secure
and scalable cloud-native environment.

Requirements

• Design and
  implement backend services using Java, Scala, and Spring Boot
  
• Build
  responsive and interactive frontend applications using React, TypeScript,
  SCSS, and Redux Toolkit
  
• Develop and
  maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform on Google Cloud Platform
  (GCP)
  
• Collaborate on
  building scalable microservices integrated with Kafka, REST, and GraphQL
  APIs
  
• Work with
  Bitbucket, SCC, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient code management and
  deployment
  
• Apply secure
  coding practices and maintain code quality using Snyk and SonarQube
  
• Monitor
  applications using Grafana, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring
  
• Participate in
  Agile teams and contribute to planning, development, testing, and
  documentation
  
• Work with
  Mapbox (react-map-gl) and TanStack libraries (React Query, React Table)
  for dynamic data-driven UIs
  
• Use SQL
  effectively across data services and integrations
  
• Understand and
  work within the Hermes GCP environment, including its basic project and
  resource structure
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong
  programming experience in Java and Scala (senior-level preferred)
  
• Proven
  frontend development experience with:
  
• React,
  TypeScript, SCSS, Redux Toolkit, Vite
  
• Experience
  working with REST and GraphQL APIs
  
• Familiarity
  with TanStack (React Query / React Table) and Mapbox (react-map-gl)
  
• Cloud
  experience with Google Cloud Platform (IAM, projects, services)
  
• Infrastructure
  automation with Terraform
  
• Scripting
  knowledge in Python for automation or tooling
  
• Strong
  understanding of CI/CD, version control (Bitbucket, SCC)
  
• Knowledge of
  Kafka, monitoring with Grafana, and working with security tools like Snyk
  
• Good working
  knowledge of SQL and backend integration patterns
  
• Familiarity
  with Hermes GCP project structures is a plus
