Senior Software Engineer - Python/Django

Salary INR 20 - 36LPAMust Have :- Experience with developing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts in cloud warehouse like Snowflake or similar technologies- Strong understanding on cloud warehouse architecture and services in AWS or similar cloud platform- Optimization and performance tuning of data processing workflows for improved efficiency- Knowledge of building data pipelines using Python using pandas data frame and SQL connectors- Preferred knowledge of Java and developing application for reading data from message queues- Knowledge of data warehouse principles like star schema model using slowly changing dimension and facts- Experience in code deployment and release management policies and procedures- Experience is scheduling jobs using Autosys or similar toolsResponsibilities : - Design and develop complex data models using star schema with slowly changing dimensions and facts. - Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or similar). - Implement data pipelines using Python, leveraging libraries like pandas and SQL connectors to automate data processing tasks. - Optimize and performance tune data processing workflows to ensure efficient and timely data delivery. - Configure and manage cloud warehouse services (AWS or similar) for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. - Integrate with data sources (APIs, databases) to extract and ingest data into the data warehouse. - (Preferred) Develop applications using Java for reading data from message queues for real-time processing. - Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Implement and maintain deployment and release management processes for data warehouse pipelines and applications. - Schedule data processing jobs using automation tools like Autosys or similar. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data warehousing technologies and best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
