Senior Software Project Engineer, Test Engineering

Develop global embedded Software solutions and IoT solutions

Your responsibilities will include

• Understanding of function concepts:

• - Execute Test Architect solutions as per Roadmaps.

• - Based on VOE, Identify testing architectures needed to execute Business Road Map.

• - Built capability internal / External to deliver Test Automation 

• - Design and Development of Test Automation Library file using C# , Python , Android 

• - Make Software predictability / Stability  should become integral part of every project/program execution

• - Review with Test specialist & Test Engg Managers and make sure executions is well supported by test architecture

• - Drive functionality Built up in  test architecture in sync with sw architecture 

• - Drive early engagements with external partners for End to End  Testing deliverables .

• - Test Execution : Work with the Subsystem ( mainly SW / Platform Architects /IOT Architects  ) to understand the Software /  Platform.  Plan 

• - Able to apply Innovation to solve problems leveraging Programming, scripts.;

• - Technical understanding of full system / Simulation type / Load case / Product attribute etc. for existing product categories

• - Evaluate and Report engineering tools for HIL & HMI Test Automation 

• - Review and Update  Manual  & Automation Test Standard

• -Knowhow in AWS , Cloud & Connectivity .

Minimum requirements

B.E.  Electronics Engineer, E& TC , Computer Engineer, Mechatronics or correlated area

Proficiency in the C and Python language 

Ability to read datasheets, software & hardware reference documents, create Embedded setups and debug hardware related issues without supervision;

Fluent English

6+ years of experience with professional software engineering practices over all aspects of software development life-cycle including writing requirements specifications, developing design guidelines and coding standards, performing code reviews, source code control, build systems, testing, release engineering and field support

Knowledgeable of theory and use of Test Driven Development (TDD)

Preferred skills and experiences

Application of Technical tools:

-Evaluate and Report engineering tools for HIL & HMI Test Automation 

-Review and Update Test  Manual  & Automation Standard

-Work with different Test Automation Architecture software vendors to understand the new Test Automation areas/application

Technical Mentoring and Coaching / Development:

-Mentor SW  engineers in complex analysis tools, techniques and applications

- Identify & bridge technical knowledge gaps

- Be a change agent for systematic problem-solving capabilities within his/ her sub-system/ module(s)

Key Deliverables 

• Patents/ Research / External presentations : 

• - Presentation in Test Automation form ( HIL - Simulation Based Test )

• Knowledge Management : 

• -Lead technical forum across globe to share knowledge and best practices

• -Trained/ Certified in PMI-PMP

• -Trained/ Certified in SAFE Agile

• Patents/ Research / External presentations : 

• -Guide V&V engineers to Publish/Present papers in technical forms

• -Should have strong external networks and be able to represent organization in external technical forums
