Senior Sourcing Engineer

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing to Pay Specialist with a strong background in technical procurement and supplier management. This role requires excellent technical skills, particularly in manufacturing processes, and expertise in handling categories such as machine sheet, metal forming, plastic injection molding, and electronic manufacturing services.

1. Supplier Management:

  - Efficiently communicate with suppliers to ensure clarity in requirements and expectations.

  - Identify and engage with new suppliers to expand the supplier base.

  - Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.

  - Conduct thorough evaluations and negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.

2. Technical Procurement:

  - Demonstrate expertise in technical procurement, particularly in manufacturing processes.

  - Handle procurement categories like electronic manufacturing services, electronic components procurement, low volume engineering build requirements.

  - Assess suppliers on both commercial and technical aspects to ensure the best value for the company.

3. Agile Work Environment:

  - Work effectively in an agile environment, adapting to changes and ensuring flexibility in processes.

  - Familiarity with agile work methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field (Electronics- Preferred)
2. Total experience of 7 to 10  years in the field & Over 5 years of coercing experience in procurement.
3. Expertise in Electronic Manufacturing services, new product development, engineering builds, build to print category procurement
4. Excellent communication skills to convey requirements efficiently to suppliers.
5. Ability to interact with research institutes, including government agencies.
6. Ability to expedite project deliverables and work in uncertain development environments.
