Senior IT Technical Analyst – Planning 

Job Description 

About the Role 

Entegris is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Technical Analyst with hands-on expertise in Supply and Production Planning. This individual will play a critical role in driving Technical process improvements, leading cross-functional projects, and supporting the configuration and optimization of SAP systems to meet the evolving needs of our global organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with Technical/Business Process Leads to identify and define requirements, applying effective Technical Analysis principles and best practices. 

• Gather and analyze Technical requirements, translating them into functional and technical solutions. 

• Configure SAP modules, specifically SAP IBP and SAP ECC/S4, across planning processes. 

• Provide functional and technical support for all areas of Supply, Production, and Fulfillment Planning. 

• Manage quarterly upgrades and routine system maintenance for a user base of over 400 global users. 

• Partner with technical teams to develop and enhance data integration capabilities with various systems. 

• Lead and actively participate in projects introducing advanced planning and integration capabilities between planning and order management platforms. 

• Analyze Technical challenges and objectives, advising on the development of current and future state processes. 

• Assist in creating and assessing the impact of deployment and cutover plans. 

• Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. 

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams in a global setting. 

• Support all phases of the solution lifecycle—from concept to delivery and production support. 

• Work within the internal IT organization to deliver high-quality solutions. 

• Promote process and solution standardization across the organization. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with SAP IBP and ERP (PP/MM/LE modules). 

• Strong understanding of SAP ERP (ECC/S4 HANA) systems, including MM, PP, SD functions, related master data, and core processes. 

• Demonstrated functional expertise in all areas of planning. 

• Proven hands-on configuration and deployment experience. 

• Excellent research, data analysis, and problem visualization skills. 

• Experience with data integration scenarios involving SAP ECC, BW, cloud systems, and third-party systems using EDIs and APIs. 

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 

• Willingness to travel up to 20% to plant locations as required.
