This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer, Workday Financial Technical Consultant based in India.

Accountabilities:


The Senior Staff Engineer, Workday Financial Technical Consultant will be responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing Workday Financial integrations and related enterprise solutions.



  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain Workday Financial integrations across enterprise applications.

  • Build and support integrations using technologies such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions aligned with operational needs.

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday Business Processes to support evolving business requirements.

  • Develop and maintain Workday reports and BIRT reports to support financial reporting and analytics.

  • Configure and manage Workday security domains, security roles, and access profiles.

  • Provide functional and technical support for Workday Financials and collaborate with other Workday functional teams when required.

  • Manage content uploads and configuration artifacts, including onboarding documentation and questionnaires.

  • Deliver production support by troubleshooting integration and functional issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing timely resolutions.

  • Monitor integration performance, data quality, and system reliability to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

  • Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests in alignment with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and service level agreements.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, support materials, and operational procedures.

  • Stay informed about Workday releases, new functionalities, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements:


The ideal candidate brings strong Workday Financial expertise, integration development experience, and the ability to work effectively within global enterprise environments.



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in enterprise applications and Workday technologies.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.

  • Deep expertise in Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.

  • Experience configuring and supporting Workday Business Processes.

  • Strong understanding of Workday Financial modules and related business processes.

  • Knowledge of additional Workday modules such as Compensation, Payroll, Core HCM, Recruiting, ATS, Employee Management, and Learning Management Systems is considered an advantage.

  • Experience developing Workday reports and BIRT reports.

  • Strong understanding of Workday security concepts, security domains, and role-based access controls.

  • Experience managing content uploads and related configuration artifacts.

  • Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks, incident management, and ticket handling processes.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.

  • Experience working with implementation partners, vendors, and cross-functional global teams.

  • Workday certification is preferred.

  • Willingness to work during overlapping US/UK business hours (preferred shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST).
