Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive technical expertise in Wintel & SolarWinds Monitoring Support Engineer and Linux & SolarWinds Monitoring, knowledge of AWS , GCP and other cloud related services. The candidates should have Network Monitoring experience

An L2 Service Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring smooth IT/service operations. The role involves handling escalated incidents from L1 support, coordinating with vendors/OEMs, and maintaining system performance and service availability.

Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure, applications, and network-related issues.


• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents within defined SLAs.


• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for issue resolution and hardware/software support.


• Monitor system health, alerts, and service availability.


• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.


• Support server, storage, backup, virtualization, and cloud environments.


• Maintain documentation of incidents, configurations, and operational procedures.


• Assist in patch management, upgrades, and system maintenance activities.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted business operations.


• Prepare daily/weekly incident and service reports.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and networking concepts.


• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware/Hyper-V.


• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure.


• Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools.


• Basic scripting and troubleshooting skills.


• Knowledge of backup, storage, and security practices.

Prerequisites:

• Strong understanding of Wintel and Linux environments


• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds


• Knowledge of SLAs, MTTx targets, and escalation protocols


•  Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).


•  Qualification: Graduate along with technical certification.


•  Experience Range: 3+ years of relevant experience in system administration and support.


• Candidate should be ready to work in 24*7 environment


• Hybrid Model of working


• CCNA/MCSE, Networking certification, RHEL foundation certification preferred with certifications on AWS / GCP / Azure.
