Senior, System Analyst Basis

Work closely with the run support team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution May work in multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction. Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement system or application enhancements Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IS methodology and processes. Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security). Understand customer's business implications and incorporate understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations. Support roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements. Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items. Work closely with the SAP Run Team in the prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support. Perform installations and upgrades and provide on-going maintenance on various SAP systems. Collaboratively perform across different work work groups and divisions towards the achievement of organizational goals Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements) 4+years' experience in SAP Basis on multiple SAP Environments (Linux, Unix, Windows) 4+years' experience in SAP Basis on multiple SAP Products (ECC, S4HANA, GTS, SLT, B4, BODS & GRC) and HANA Database. 2+ years' experience managing small to medium system development projects Proficient in the administration and maintenance of multiple SAP systems and expertise in system landscape design Strong SAP Basis skills including installation, upgrade, patching, backup/restore, and Basis troubleshooting (ABAP & J2EE stacks) SAP Basis Administration including system refreshes and SAP HANA Administration Ability to configure various tools and features in Solution Manager including Diagnostics, EWA, Interactive Reporting, and System Monitoring Experience implementing technical integrations of global 3rd party applications (like VERTEX, RIGHTFAX, EAI , EDI, etc. and other applications as needed) with SAP Ability to maintain strong and effective working relationships with SAP Application owners, IT Infrastructure team and OS/Network Team Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic Supply Chain, Planning, and/or Distribution beneficial Experience with Medical Device or Life Sciences beneficial Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills with a track record of communicating complex concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including at senior executive levels Responsible risk taking and risk management.
