Senior System Engineer – VMware, Storage & Microsoft Server

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior System Engineer with strong expertise in VMware, Storage technologies, and Microsoft Windows Server administration. The ideal candidate will have hands -on experience in managing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

? Administer and manage VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

? Handle virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and performance tuning

? Manage and troubleshoot enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, RAID)

? Administer Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)

? Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies

? Monitor system performance and ensure high availability

? Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations

? Troubleshoot server, virtualization, and storage -related issues

? Implement security best practices and system patching

? Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

âï¸ 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure / system administration

âï¸ Strong hands -on experience in VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

âï¸ Expertise in storage technologies (SAN, NAS, LUN, RAID, Backup solutions)

âï¸ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration

âï¸ Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO

âï¸ Good understanding of networking fundamentals

âï¸ Experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues

âï¸ Knowledge of backup tools and disaster recovery planning

Preferred Qualifications:

â VMware Certification (VCP or equivalent)

â Microsoft Certifications (MCSA / Azure / Windows Server)

â Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus

â Scripting knowledge (PowerShell) is an added advantage
