Job Description - Senior Systems Integration Engineer

About the Role:

  • The Senior Systems Integration Engineer plays a critical role in building and operating integrations across Commercial and Corporate Systems, with a core competency in SAP.
  • This role involves hands-on systems configuration, data extraction/imports, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • The engineer ensures fast and reliable delivery for M&A initiatives by standardizing processes, driving automation where appropriate, and owning end-to-end integration quality.
  • They work closely with business-as-usual teams to ensure that the integration supports the identified project gaps and that the desired value is realized in the systems, with a core focus on SAP's Order to Cash and Finance modules.

About You:

  • Delivers comprehensive integration solutions across Commercial and Corporate Systems, focusing on SAP's backend systems and financial modules.
  • Leads integration projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Manages end-to-end integration quality and ensures fast, reliable delivery for M&A initiatives.
  • Engages with cross-functional teams to execute integration solutions.
  • Collaborates with business-as-usual teams to ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Configures and operates system integrations across Commercial and Corporate Systems, with core competency in SAP's backend systems.
  • Conducts data extraction and imports, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
  • Standardizes ways of working and drives automation where appropriate.
  • Ensures that integration solutions meet identified project gaps and business value is realized.
  • Provides input to department objectives and goals, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring integration solutions meet these needs.
  • Applies new technologies in integration solutions and provides recommendations to the project team.
  • Supports and develops team members by providing advice, mentoring, training, and coaching.
  • Leads integration projects with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Communicates technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and adjusts communication style to suit the audience.
