Role Description

Location: Kochi

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead with 8 -15 years of expertise in software engineering, strong backend development skills, and hands-on experience in leading AI and machine learning initiatives. This role is instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative, enterprise-grade AI solutions across diverse domains in the US and UAE.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, robust problem-solving capabilities, and leadership experience to guide end-to-end AI solution developmentfrom architecture and design to deployment and scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions within scalable microservices-based architectures.
  
• Architect and build backend systems and APIs using modern frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, FastAPI/Flask, Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, DevOps engineers) to translate business needs into high-performing AI applications.
  
• Guide technical roadmap development for AI initiatives, including LLMs, fine-tuning, and agentic AI systems.
  
• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/MLOps best practices, and robust testing frameworks.
  
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for scalable infrastructure and deployment, ensuring cost efficiency and security compliance.
  
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML and backend engineering, and recommend the adoption of emerging technologies where applicable.
  
• Communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences effectively.
  

Core Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python (must-have) with experience in FastAPI or Flask for building scalable APIs and microservices.

Solid hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing distributed systems.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and following best practices in DevOps and MLOps workflows.

Experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions, including LLM fine-tuning, small language model optimization, and building agentic AI systems.

Qualification:

Must have:

• MCA or Bachelor of Technology
  

Good to have:

• Proven track record in defining and developing end-to-end Machine Learning, Deep learning and Generative AI solutions, from conception to deployment
  
• Experience in advising, defining and applying best practices, evaluating alternative and complementary ML and foundational models suitable for given business contexts
  
• Experience in mentoring junior team members, and guiding them on creating end to end AI solutions
