Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow \u2013 all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible. \n\nPTC is looking for a SME who has practical hands-on experience in Java for secured software integration, delivery and deployment, and is responsible for shifting Security to the left in entire software supply chain right from building to the deployment aiding reliability to the agility.\n\nThe candidate will be working as a part of a team involved in design, implementation, performant, secured, agile, and reliable delivery and deployment of PTC\u2019s flagship PLM suite, Windchill, on a SaaS platform. This position is based out of PTC\u2019s Pune R\u0026D facility.\n\nJob responsibilities include:\n\n * Develop and deploy highly secure in multiple environments.\n * Work towards achieving 100% automation.\n * Participate in Code Analysis/Review, bug fixing.\n * Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management\n * Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the cross-functional team including multiple groups (viz. IT, Engineering) working on several different technologies\n * Communicate effectively about the work done, rationale behind it and the impact on other parts of the product and trade-offs that have been made\n * Help shape the DevOps vision and road map\n\n\n\nMust Have Skills \u0026 Experience:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s/Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information technology or equivalent software development experience.\n * 5 to 8+ years of experience in server-side programming in Java.\n * Experience in working on PLM software like Windchill would be an added advantage.\n * Proven working experience in languages like Java.\n * Proven working experience in Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL\n * Passionate about simple and clean code, unit testing and following standard coding practices.\n * Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and innovation capabilities.\n\n\n\nPositional Attributes: \n\n * Out of the box thinker with a passion for doing things right the first time\n * Should have non-negotiable urge towards 100% automation, and \u201czero-trust\u201d policy towards security\n * Strong urge towards investigation of problems, and ability to conduct independent research\n * A self-starter, data-driven with excellent analytical \u0026 problem-solving ability to conceptualize and drive end-to-end development solutions that provide customer value\n * Motivation to learn new concepts and proactively develop domain knowledge\n * Strong decision-making skills: take-charge personality with ability to drive a plan to completion\n * Smart individual who is readily approachable and be able to work effectively with multi-site cross-functional teams, having excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\n\n\nLife at PTC is about more than working with today\u2019s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
