As a Senior Technical Writer at Regami Solutions, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high -quality technical documentation for embedded systems, semiconductor -centric hardware, firmware, and software solutions. This role requires the ability to understand complex engineering concepts across hardware, low -level software, and system workflows, and translate them into clear, accurate, and user -focused documentation.
You will work closely with cross -functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and globally distributed stakeholders to gather inputs, structure content, and ensure consistency across all documentation deliverables. The ideal candidate has strong experience in structured authoring (DITA), single -sourcing methodologies, and documentation lifecycle management using CCMS platforms, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop end -to -end technical documentation from concept to release, aligned with Regami Solutions’ documentation standards and project timelines.
Create and maintain product documentation including user manuals, developer guides, firmware guides, API documentation, feature descriptions, and release notes.
Update documentation to reflect changes in product versions, specifications, workflows, and industry standards.
Apply structured authoring methodologies (DITA) to create modular, reusable, and scalable content.
Maintain a single source of truth to support consistent multi -format outputs (HTML, PDF, internal portals).
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality teams to gather technical inputs and simplify complex concepts for varied audiences.
Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical correctness.
Ensure documentation aligns with relevant industry standards such as IEEE, ISO, and JEDEC where applicable.
Work effectively with cross -geography teams and stakeholders across different time zones.
Contribute to technical diagrams, architecture workflows, illustrations, presentations, and supporting visuals.
Support special documentation initiatives including content audits, proofreading, formatting, and compliance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CSE preferred), Technical Communication, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within embedded systems, semiconductor hardware, firmware, or software domains.
Strong ability to understand and document system architectures, hardware–software interactions, and engineering workflows.
Experience creating technical diagrams and visuals using tools such as Visio, Draw.io, or Adobe Illustrator.
Familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Exposure to documentation automation workflows including CI/CD publishing, Git -based versioning, and scripted builds.
Proven ability to manage documentation deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills
Hands -on expertise in DITA XML authoring and single -sourcing practices.
Proficiency with XML/DITA -based documentation tools such as Oxygen XML Editor or equivalent.
Experience working directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including hardware design engineers, firmware developers, and validation teams.
Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, agile/sprint -based workflows, and review processes.
High attention to detail with the ability to validate documentation against specifications, datasheets, and release notes.
Excellent command of written English with strong technical communication and editing skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CCMS platforms, preferably Vasont Inspire or similar systems.
Prior experience documenting semiconductor, SoC, or embedded platform products.
Experience creating developer -facing documentation such as APIs, SDK workflows, AT command references, or integration guides.
Familiarity with semiconductor terminology, chip architectures, block diagrams, and hardware development concepts.
Working knowledge of documentation automation, scripting, or Git -centric workflows.
Ability to create or contribute to multimedia documentation assets such as short videos, tutorials, or animations.
