This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Territory Account Manager (Mumbai) - SMB / Mid-Market based in India.


This role offers the opportunity to drive cybersecurity growth across a strategic territory by building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions that address evolving business risks.
You will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation and opportunity qualification to closing deals and expanding customer partnerships.
Working closely with channel partners and internal teams, you will help organizations strengthen their security posture through innovative technology solutions.
The position combines consultative selling, territory management, and executive engagement with leading businesses across the SMB and mid-market segments.

Accountabilities:


As a Senior Territory Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing revenue within an assigned region by developing strategic customer relationships, managing opportunities, and delivering value-driven cybersecurity solutions.



  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across SMB and mid-market customer accounts within the assigned territory.

  • Drive the complete sales cycle, including territory planning, prospecting, demand generation, discovery, solution alignment, negotiation, and account expansion.

  • Identify new business opportunities while developing existing customer relationships through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

  • Engage with senior decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, and security leaders, to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.

  • Qualify opportunities effectively and maintain accurate sales forecasting using structured methodologies.

  • Apply consultative and value-based selling approaches to demonstrate business impact and customer outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with channel partners, distributors, and internal sales teams to expand market reach and generate new opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales Engineers and technical teams throughout the sales process to ensure successful solution adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business forums.

  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline performance, sales activity, customer feedback, and market insights to leadership teams.


Requirements:


The ideal candidate is an experienced cybersecurity sales professional with a strong track record of managing territories, acquiring new customers, and building long-term commercial relationships.



  • 8+ years of professional sales experience, including at least 5 years selling cybersecurity products or solutions within enterprise or mid-market segments.

  • Proven experience acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts within the 100–1000 seat customer segment.

  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and experience managing a defined sales territory.

  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline development, opportunity management, and complex deal closure.

  • Hands-on experience using sales qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC to improve forecasting and sales execution.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.

  • Experience driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Strong familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.

  • Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Support, and partner teams.

  • Ability to analyze sales performance data and use insights to guide territory strategy.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience with both direct sales and partner-led sales models.
