Senior Test Analyst

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies for Oracle Fusion applications. Your expertise will ensure that Oracle Fusion solutions are thoroughly tested, covering end-to-end business processes, integrations, and critical functionalities. With a strong background in accounting and finance, you will validate financial transactions, postings, and controls, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Additionally, your experience in facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will be instrumental in engaging with Global Process Owners and business stakeholders to ensure system changes meet business requirements and are fit for operational use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, and scripts for Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and HCM initiatives.
• Ensure test coverage across finance, procurement, projects, planning, consolidation, and HR processes.
• Design and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios across Oracle Fusion modules.
• Validate business processes, including upstream and downstream dependencies, and test integrations.
• Support testing of data migration, configuration changes, workflows, approvals, and security roles.
• Identify, log, and track defects, providing clear descriptions and evidence for retesting.
• Apply accounting knowledge to validate financial transactions, postings, and reconciliations.
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to align test cases with accounting principles and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with global and regional teams.
• Manage defects, assess impact, and provide regular test status reporting, including defect trends and risks.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Test Analyst or Senior Test Analyst in large-scale ERP transformation programs.
• Hands-on testing experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications across ERP, EPM, and HCM.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance and accounting processes, including regulatory requirements.
• Experience facilitating UAT with senior business stakeholders and global process owners.
• Proficiency in defect management using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, with ISTQB Foundation certification preferred.
• Oracle Fusion-related certifications and finance, accounting, or project delivery qualifications are advantageous.
