Senior Test Automation Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking
for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in QA Automation with strong
hands -on experience in Playwright and Selenium. The ideal candidate will contribute
to building high -quality automation solutions, ensuring robust test coverage,
and supporting continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop,
  enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright and
  Selenium.
  
• Contribute
  to the design and evolution of automation frameworks under architectural
  guidance.
  
• Implement
  automated tests for web, API, and integration layers using JavaScript and
  Java.
  
• Integrate
  and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Collaborate
  with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure
  comprehensive test coverage.
  
• Participate
  in code reviews, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Support test
  data management, environment setup, and execution stability.
  
• Ensure
  adherence to defined automation standards and best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of
  experience in software testing and automation.
  
• Strong
  hands -on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
  
• Proficiency
  in JavaScript and/or Java.
  
• Experience
  working with automation frameworks (BDD, data -driven, or hybrid).
  
• Familiarity
  with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  
• Solid
  understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Good
  debugging, analytical, and problem -solving skills.
  
• Effective
  communication and collaboration skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience
  with API automation tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate).
  
• Basic
  understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
  
• Exposure to
  mobile test automation (Appium).
  
• Awareness of
  emerging trends such as AI -powered testing.
