👩‍💻 The Role

Do you have a discerning eye for detail, a natural storytelling instinct, and the leadership skills to elevate a creative team? Are you ready to meet tight deadlines while pushing the boundaries of video content across multiple formats? If you’re nodding yes, we need you as our next Senior Video Editor!

You’ll create visually stunning, narrative-driven videos that captivate and inspire our audience across platforms. In this role, your extensive experience will not only bring technical mastery and creative vision but also set the standard for quality and efficiency within our team. What skills & experience do you need?

A Master Editor’s Toolkit:

Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects. Strong proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator as well.

Expert skills in color grading and sound design [experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus for color grading]

Proven Storytelling Expertise:

1-5 years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio that showcases strong ability to turn raw footage into compelling narratives. Strong knowledge and application of motion graphics is a must.

Ability to enhance engagement and retention by applying precise pacing, balanced composition, and seamless visual transitions.

Leadership & Ownership:

You bring initiative, accountability, and a willingness to support or guide others when needed. Experience in mentoring or managing teammates is a strong plus.

A history of taking full ownership of projects, from conceptualization to final delivery, while consistently meeting deadlines.

Versatility Across Formats:

Ability to edit a diverse range of content including live action footage, stock clips, motion graphics, etc.

Comfortable producing content tailored for different platforms (long form videos, shorts/reels, etc.) while maintaining brand consistency. Ability to learn and unlearn to fit into the standards of editing at Headout.

AI Skills:

Proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway AI, Krea AI, Kling AI, Hailuo AI, etc.) is a must for creating innovative video content.
