Core Responsibilities
- Own the entire website lifecycle — from concept to live production and ongoing optimization.
- Translate stakeholder ideas into high-performing, visually polished pages that drive conversions.
- Maintain consistency across all web assets — ensuring global components and styles are applied sitewide.
- Develop new pages and components in WordPress using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement across the site, not just based on direct requests.
- Optimize for performance, SEO, and GenAI search engines (structured data, tagging, schema, etc.)
- Implement analytics tracking, form integrations, and event-based conversion tracking.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in UX, visual design, and SEO/AI-driven search behavior.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Design, and Product teams to execute on roadmap and campaigns.
- Ensure strong project management discipline — clear communication, follow-ups, and timely delivery.

Key Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Web Developer, with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Strong front-end dev skills: HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScrX ipt, PHP, WordPress theming, responsive frameworks.
- Proficient in Node.js and React, with experience building and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Excellent eye for visual design, layout, and interaction — you care how it looks and feels.
- Comfortable working with or without full design mockups.
- Experience optimizing websites for SEO and emerging GenAI-driven search behavior.
- Familiar with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Experience setting up Google Analytics, GTM, remarketing tags, and form integrations.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills — able to juggle multiple requests and deliver fast.
- Experience working closely with stakeholders across marketing, product, and design.
- Experience working in a fast-moving, startup or high-growth environment is a big plus.
