Senior Womenswear Product Manager - India

I am looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join an international office, working with a UK retailer. You will lead and mentor a small team based in New Delhi.

You would be responsible for driving product strategy, sales and product development across key categories, predominantly on women's wovens. You will also be leading and developing PM’s and designers across other apparel categories. You will work closely with international Buying and Design teams, local manufacturers, mills and suppliers to develop high-quality, commercially successful product ranges.

The role will include regular travel to the UK, as well as inspirational trips within Europe and internationally. Previous experience within a UK-based head office environment is essential for this role. You must have a strong understanding of the UK market and demonstrable experience working with UK customers, products and/or buying teams.

Senior Product Manager (India)– The Role:

* Lead product strategy, range building and product development.

* Drive sales performance and achieve category targets.

* Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

* Work closely with international Buying, Design, Merchandising and Technical teams.

* Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, Designers and support functions.

* Identify new product, fabric and sourcing opportunities.

* Manage critical paths, quality, pricing and timely delivery.

Senior Product Manager (India) – The Person:

* Strong background in fashion design, buying or product development, for the UK market.

* Experience in women’s woven products is essential.

* Excellent commercial, project management and communication skills.

* Strong leadership and team-development capabilities.

* Analytical, energetic, resourceful and commercially driven, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
