Job Description - Server Administrator

Requirements

Role and Responsibility -

Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers with relevant services .
Monitor server performance, availability, and system health.
Knowledge with Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper -V.
Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Perform regular backups and recovery testing.
Monitor storage utilization and server resources.
Apply operating system patches and security updates.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
Maintain server documentation and inventory records.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
