Service Engineer Owner (M/F/D)

Our product Integration Platform enables the stable, transparent, and governed operation of enterprise integrations across BASF. The Service Engineer / Owner ensures business continuity and operational excellence of the integration landscape.

In this role, you ensure reliable operation of the Integration Platform and its underlying runtimes (including SAP Integration technologies). You support developers, operations teams, partners, and architects in day‑to‑day platform usage and evolution.

Main Tasks / Scope of Work

Consulting & Platform Stewardship :

• Guide teams on change, incident, and lifecycle management


• Act as operational owner for the Integration Platform
  
  

Engineering & Operations :

• Support go‑lives (transports, security configuration, documentation)


• Manage platform configuration and runtime alignment


• Support 2nd‑level incident resolution for critical integrations


• Ensure certificate and security material management


• Proactively maintain platform stability and availability

Work Experience :

• Minimum 3-5 years’ related working experience


• Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
  
  

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory and nice to have)

Main requirements :

• Maintaining a large-scale SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Edge Integration Cell) and SAP PO production environment.


• Profound technical knowledge of the daily operations of the abovementioned tools.


• Knowledge of or at least willingness to learn additional integration tools like SAP API Management, SLT or Data Intelligence.
