Service Mgr II

The Service Manager position will be responsible for:

Lead and motivate service team to achieve set standards of quality and professionalism

Developing, implementing and monitoring the Service Group’s business plan to meet agreed budget

Ensuring that the Bio-Rad commitment to customer satisfaction is performed and constantly improved

Work closely with the respective Business Managers for alignment of the service and sales key priorities

To drive the operational team, CTS for closure of timely calls, MIS reports, and operational efficiency

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• To manage service group in the region, set target, plan inventory levels and ensure smooth operations
• Forecast, monitor and control servicing and other expenses for service in the region
• Ensure  monthly report detailing  of jobs attended Business unit  wise, response and down times, pending jobs and revenue received during the month
• Monitoring of extended warranties and Reagent rental and ensure provisions are made to support these installations during extended warranties and reagent rental contracts
• Adequately supervise and manage all group staff, be they direct or indirect reports
• Ensure the effective implementation of the performance management system and that all Field Engineers receive annual performance reviews
• Ensure that group staff achieve their forecasts and are following Company guidelines/practices/policies
• Motivate and support Field Engineers staff both within and outside the company

What You Bring: 

• Strong  People Management and coaching
• Planning/organizing skills
• Proven ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good Managerial skills
• Engineering degree; M.Sc with Electronics or equivalent 
• Post Graduate in Electronics
• At least 18-20 years  overall experience ,with experience of 4-5 years  as Regional Service Manager in a medium size organization
• Proven People managerial experience
• Direct line management experience
