Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer – ITOM / ITAM to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that enhance IT operations and asset management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ITOM and ITAM modules, a solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, and experience integrating with third-party systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM modules including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, HAM, and SAM.

  Implement and optimize discovery processes, CMDB health, reconciliation, and data accuracy.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop integrations with external systems using APIs, MID servers, and web services.

  
  


• 
  

  Automate workflows and operational tasks related to infrastructure and asset management.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, governance policies, and organizational standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for ITOM/ITAM modules.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in upgrade and maintenance activities to ensure platform stability and performance.

  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 
  

  Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, HAM, SAM).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data models, and platform capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, LDAP, MID Servers).

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS within ServiceNow.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  

  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

  
  


• 
  

  Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM / ITAM.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem) is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
