Servicenow Developers

We are looking for a highly capable and forward -thinking Senior ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years of hands -on experience to join our enterprise platform team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be a core technical anchor, architecting, customizing, and scaling our ServiceNow instance to automate complex enterprise workflows and elevate operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical experience in application development (scoped and global), custom integrations, and a strong mastery of modern ServiceNow engines like Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Integration Hub.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Development & Customization

• Architect, design, and develop scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform, enforcing best practices for both Global and Scoped Applications.
  
• Write clean, robust, and optimized code using JavaScript/Glide API across Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
  
• Drive platform modernization by migrating legacy workflows to Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and Integration Hub.
  

2. Integrations & Portal Design

• Design and implement secure, bidirectional integrations between ServiceNow and third -party enterprise tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Workday, Monitoring tools) utilizing REST/SOAP Web Services, mid -servers, and JSON payloads.
  
• Build and customize intuitive, modern user interfaces on the Service Portal using Widget Studio, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS.
  

3. Modules & Architecture

• Configure and advance ServiceNow core modules including, but not limited to, ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping), or HRSD based on business roadmaps.
  
• Maintain CMDB health, data models, transform maps, and robust Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure strict data security.
  

4. Governance, Release & Mentorship

• Manage application deployment cycles across development, test, and production environments using Update Sets, App Repo, or Source Control (Git integration).
  
• Lead code reviews, structural debugging, and performance tuning to prevent instance degradation during bi -annual ServiceNow upgrades.
  
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and coordinate effectively with cross -functional stakeholders.
  

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / Computer Science graduate or equivalent.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years of specialized experience in full -lifecycle ServiceNow development.

Technical Toolkit: * Expert -level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.

o   In -depth knowledge of ServiceNow database schema, relationship mapping, and Glide System functions.

 Certifications:

o   Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

o   Highly Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
