About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate – ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Security Operations (SecOps). The role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing risk, compliance, third-party, and security workflows on the ServiceNow platform in alignment with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Configuration
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions specializing in IRM, TPRM, and SecOps modules.
- Build and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
- Apply ServiceNow best-practice customization while ensuring platform performance, scalability, and security.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and regression testing activities.
IRM & TPRM Responsibilities
- Implement and enhance Operational Risk, IT Risk, Compliance, Audit, Issue Management, and Policy & Control use cases.
- Configure and manage TPRM lifecycle workflows including vendor onboarding, risk assessments, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
- Enable traceability across risks, controls, issues, and remediation actions to support regulatory and audit requirements.
- Configure dashboards and reports to provide actionable risk and third-party exposure insights.
SecOps Responsibilities
- Implement and enhance Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with external security tools using REST APIs and MID Servers.
- Automate security workflows to improve incident triage, prioritization, remediation tracking, and SLA management.
- Ensure security findings are appropriately linked to enterprise risk and third-party risk processes.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, security, procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Work with architects, product owners, testers, and DevOps teams in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and configuration analysts.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live stabilization.
Governance & Quality
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise risk frameworks, internal controls, and audit expectations.
- Embed access controls, segregation of duties, audit logging, and data quality controls into ServiceNow solutions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation, evidence, and traceability.
- Continuously identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and optimize risk and security workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with hands-on expertise in IRM, TPRM, and/or SecOps.
- Strong understanding of risk management, third-party risk, compliance, and cybersecurity operations.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, integrations (REST), and data models.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, IRM, or SecOps.
- Experience supporting operational resilience, regulatory compliance, or audit programs.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled risk or security use cases within ServiceNow.
- Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments.
