Shift Engineer

The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage plant/equipment operations during the shift, ensuring smooth functioning, safety, and compliance.

About the Role:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of DG sets, HVAC, electrical panels, and fire systems
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, Engineering guideline, SOP’s, Work permits, statutory regulations, and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure uninterrupted facility operations
• Supervise contractors, review service reports, and ensure timely completion of repair/maintenance work
• Maintain logs, prepare reports on DG operations, diesel consumption, and share updates with management

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, equipment operations, and preventive maintenance.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Understanding of workplace safety standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Shift Management: Capability to manage shift operations, coordinate with teams, and ensure minimal downtime.
