Shipping Coordinator

General Manager

Job Purpose

The role will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation solutions for our products, be able to resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Order Processing for shipping documentation: Ensure that the information provided is accurate and complete before proceeding with shipping documentation.


• Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate with sales, warehouse and other internal departments to address any order-related discrepancies or issues that may arise. Ensure smooth communication and teamwork throughout the shipping process.


• Shipment Documentation: Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs forms and other necessary paperwork. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and documentation requirements. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date shipping records, including shipping logs, delivery receipts, customs documentation and any other relevant documentation. Ensure all shipping documentation is properly filed and archived for future reference and audit purposes


• Shipment Updates: Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers regarding the status and estimated delivery times of shipments. Keep all parties informed of any changes or delays that may occur.


• Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor the progress of shipments throughout the transportation process. Address any potential delays or issues promptly and take appropriate actions to keep shipments on schedule.


• Resolving Shipping Problems: Handle shipping-related problems or discrepancies and work towards finding appropriate solutions and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.


• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline shipping operations and enhance overall efficiency.


• Coordination with CPL Dubai shipping team for shipping details and documents.


• Send weekly confirmation on shipment lot for Sunday pick.


• Arrange air shipment for emergencies.


• Manage client priorities, lot size optimization.


• Confirmation with sales team on prices, credit terms, AR code etc.

Skills and Attributes Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
