You will build custom Shopify apps, improve store functionality, automate workflows, and integrate external systems using Node.js, Shopify APIs, and Liquid.
This role is perfect for someone who can work across the front-end Shopify theme layer and backend custom app & API layer.
Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (private/public/custom)
Build Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Build & manage Node.js services for automation & data sync
Integrate third-party platforms — payment, CRM, logistics, checkout systems, marketing tools
Work with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs
Create and manage webhooks, middleware, and API endpoints
Work with Admin API, Storefront API, and App Proxy
Troubleshoot app issues & optimize performance
Create & manage Shopify metafields, JSON templates
Participate in code reviews & follow Git workflows
3+ years of experience in Shopify development
Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, and metafields
Mandatory experience in Shopify App Development
Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth
Good knowledge of Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL
Skilled in third-party API integrations and creating custom endpoints
Experience with Git version control
Strong troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset
