Position Summary –

• Responsible for handling utilities, air conditioning and maintenance of building & premises, maintenance of equipment’s installed at site.

• To ensure the engineering activities such as Preventive Maintenance, breakdown maintenance, Calibration, Validation and carried out as per scheduled timelines.

• To ensure and maintain high degree of morale, discipline amongst the team.

• To ensure that all the systems and equipment are upgraded, Validated & Automated as per the procedures and requirements.  

• To ensure that the subordinates are adequately trained for the job assigned Optimum utilization of resources.

• To ensure that optimum resources such as man, material and area are available for the smooth operation of engineering related activities.

• In – House training of all the persons working in maintenance

• To ensure that contractors are trained for the job they are doing

• Review and approval of Layouts and SOP’s.

• Review and approval of QMS records/documents in EDMS and TrackWise system.

• To ensure that all SOP’s related to engineering are being followed.

• Responsible to perform the internal and external audit as per the site specific procedure.

• Ensuring the EnMS conforms to the requirements of ISO 50001:2018 at respective plant locations.

• Identify legal & other requirements related to EnMS at respective plants.

• Support to departments for establishment, implementation and maintenance of EnMS.

• Control EnMS documentation at respective plants.

• Report corporate EnMS-MR/Corporate Co-ordinator on performance of EnMS.

• Ensure improvements for energy performances at respective locations. Ensure effective internal/external communication related to respective plant’s EnMS activities.

• Co-ordinate, Support, Guide and Ensure effective implementation of EnMS at respective plant locations.

Educational Qualification

Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation (B. Tech / B.E.)

Experience

18+ years’ experience in formulation (OSD preferred)
