Position: Operation & Maintenance – Direct Contract Position

Location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai

Experience:

Graduate Engineer (Electrical) with 5–7 years’ experience, OR

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 7–10 years’ experience

Industry: High Voltage Power Transmission

Type: Direct Contract

About the Role

Siemens Energy India Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the Operation & Maintenance of high voltage power transmission systems. The role focuses on managing the complete lifecycle of 220kV and 400kV Gas Insulated Substations (GIS), including preventive and breakdown maintenance, testing, and site management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operation and maintenance of 220kV/400kV High Voltage GIS substations.

Perform offline and online condition monitoring and testing of switchyard equipment.

Strong understanding of relay protection systems/schemes (numerical relays integrated with SCADA).

Provide technical training and empowerment to site employees on power transmission products (EHV Transformers, Isolators, Lightning Arresters, GIS).

Maintain environment, health, and safety (EHS) standards in compliance with Siemens and customer protocols.

Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities at substations.

Customer coordination and contract/vendor management at the site.

Take charge of site operations, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Lead a team of engineers and technical staff with a team-centric and customer-focused approach.

Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Prior experience in electrical utilities is a strong advantage

Proven leadership capabilities and ability to manage teams at site

Excellent communication and coordination skills
