Job Responsibilities

Position: Site Safety In-Charge (IC) 
Location: Pune, Maharashtra

About the Role 

The Site Safety In-Charge is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, implementation, and enforcement of all safety practices and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on site. This role ensures a compliant, risk-free, and safe working environment for all personnel, contractors, and visitors. 

What You Will Do 

• Implement of company HSE Policy, objectives, HSE Manual, contract condition, HSE SOPs at all projects. 


• Ensure all required documents received from all contractors for approval from all vendors. 


• Conduct Safety inspection as per schedule. 


• Impart the training program for company Staff and as faculty in training program, organized by the contractors.


• Act as catalyst for the Project Safety Committee activities. 


• Ensure the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System at project site.


• Identify the training needs, designing and imparting training for staff, visitor & contractors.


• Evaluate compliance of HSE legal requirements. 


• Conduct periodical Site Safety Inspections & report the finding for corrective action.


• Review & appraise the site Safety performance of vendors.


• Timely report of Safety shortcoming to project Head for continual improvement.


• Check the safety compliances before pouring of concrete and approve it from safety angle and keep record of the details.


• Ensure the HSE compliance of venders as per approved HSE Plan.


• Ensure the HSE compliance of venders as per approved MSRA. 

What You Bring 

Degree / Diploma in Engineering + ADIS 
3– 6years of site safety experience 
Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices 
Good observation, reporting, and communication skills
