Job Description - SNOW Platform Maintenance / Operations


We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow GRC / IRM Consultant (Platform Maintenance & Operations) to support and maintain enterprise ServiceNow environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, platform administration, and support, with expertise in IRM/GRC, Vulnerability Response, and Security Operations modules. You will be responsible for incident resolution, platform enhancements, workflow automation, integrations, upgrades, and performance optimization while ensuring platform stability and compliance with governance standards. This role requires excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to work effectively with globally distributed teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide front-line support for ServiceNow applications by managing incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.

  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents in line with SLA commitments and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.

  • Configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).

  • Design, develop, and manage complex Workflows and Flow Designer implementations.

  • Support deployment and migration activities across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Monitor platform performance, conduct health checks, and proactively address performance issues.

  • Plan and execute ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities in coordination with Release Management teams.

  • Identify and implement platform optimization opportunities to improve system performance and user experience.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to support operational excellence.

  • Manage platform reference data while ensuring compliance with governance standards and architectural guidelines.

  • Support integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, scripted web services, and connectors.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams following agile delivery methodologies.

  • Provide support across client-specific time zones as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications



  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Business Rules

    • Client Scripts

    • UI Policies

    • UI Scripts

    • UI Actions

    • UI Pages

    • Script Includes

    • Access Control Lists (ACLs)

    • Flow Designer

    • ServiceNow Workflows


  • Experience with ServiceNow platform deployments, upgrades, and environment migrations.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities, and product offerings.

  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting:

    • Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC)

    • Vulnerability Response (VR)

    • Security Operations (SecOps)


  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and scripted web services.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile teams.

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
