Snowflake Developer_5+ years

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer / Snowflake Developer with strong experience in Snowflake Data Cloud, SQL, DBT, ETL/ELT, and Data Warehousing. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data solutions, developing data pipelines, performing data transformations, optimizing Snowflake workloads, and supporting data migration and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake Data Cloud.


• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.


• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.


• Develop data transformation and modeling workflows using DBT.


• Create and maintain DBT models, incremental models, snapshots, tests, and macros.


• Design and implement data warehouse and dimensional data models, including fact and dimension tables.


• Work with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Stages, Virtual Warehouses, and Data Sharing.


• Optimize Snowflake query performance, warehouse utilization, storage, and compute costs.


• Perform data validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and quality checks across source and target systems.


• Develop and support data pipelines integrating Snowflake with AWS S3, Azure, or GCP cloud services.


• Support data migration and modernization initiatives from legacy databases/platforms to Snowflake.


• Work with large volumes of structured and semi-structured data including CSV, JSON, and Parquet.


• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, validation, and pipeline support.


• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for data pipeline failures.


• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, developers, and reporting teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.


• Follow Agile development practices, coding standards, version control, testing, and deployment processes.

• 4–10 years of overall IT experience.


• Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development.

• Experience in cloud-based data platforms and data migration.


• Good understanding of Snowflake performance optimization and scalable pipeline design.


• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
