Social and Gender Expert-Odisha- Fixed Term

This role will be part of Hiring for setting up a PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha.

The requirements are as below:
•    Bachelor degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related disciplines from a recognized institution
•    Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and community development, preferably in the urban development or climate resilience sectors.
•    Experience in working with government programmes, multilateral projects, or development agencies focused on gender equality, social justice, or climate action.
•    Proven experience in developing gender action plans, gender audits, or GESI frameworks in urban or environmental projects project.
•    Strong understanding of national and state-level gender policies, urban missions (e.g., Smart Cities, CITIIS, etc.)

Duration: 2 year contract with an additional 1-year extension possible.

Contingent upon winning the bid.

Location: Anyone from the following six cities in Odisha - Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Puri
