Social Media Executive

Role Overview Travelwings is looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to support and execute our social media and content marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, digital branding, audience engagement, and building impactful travel campaigns across social platforms.

The candidate will work closely with the marketing team to strengthen Travelwings’ social media presence across key markets such as UAE and USA, while ensuring brand consistency, timely content execution, and strong audience engagement across digital channels. The role will involve planning, creating, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting social media content, while also contributing fresh campaign ideas for destination promotions, offers, and travel-related storytelling. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, promotions, and content calendars for Travelwings’ key markets, especially UAE and USA
  
• Create engaging content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, presentations, and marketing materials
  
• Handle the boosting of social media posts and campaigns through Meta/Facebook Ads Manager, including appropriate audience selection, campaign-setup, and understanding of budget allocation to maximize followers, reach, engagement, and campaign performance
  
• Coordinate with internal teams, designers, video editors, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely content production and publishing
  
• Support the creation, scheduling, and publishing of social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  
• Monitor audience engagement, comments, messages, and social interactions, and support timely responses and community management
  
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media communication, visuals, captions, and campaign messaging
  
• Contribute creative ideas for destination promotions, seasonal campaigns, topical posts, offers, and travel storytelling
  
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and social media trend tracking within the travel and tourism industry, especially for UAE and USA audiences
  
• Assist in tracking and reporting social media campaign performance, engagement metrics, and content learnings
  
• Support influencer collaborations, social media contests, giveaways, and audience engagement initiatives whenever required
  
• Stay updated on platform trends, content formats, viral ideas, and best practices to improve Travelwings’ digital visibility and engagement
  
  
  

Requirements

• Graduation in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media, or a related field
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Basic to good understanding of social media management, branding, content creation, and digital marketing
  
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, or similar content/design tools
  
• Good knowledge of AI tools and productivity platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and similar tools for content ideation, research, drafting, and workflow efficiency
  
• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  
• Interest in travel, tourism, destination marketing, and consumer engagement
  
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute ideas
  
• Basic understanding of social media insights, reporting, and performance metrics is a plus
