We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Science educator to join our team, specializing in grades 6–9. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum -aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of historical, geographical, and societal concepts. This role is vital in shaping students’ global perspectives and analytical skills, preparing them for academic success and informed citizenship. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, utilize innovative teaching methods, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment aligned with SSC board standards.

Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in Social Science for students in grades 6–9, adhering to SSC board curriculum guidelines.
Develop and implement lesson plans that promote inquiry -based learning, critical analysis, and real -world application.
Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respectful dialogue.
Collaborate with fellow educators to align teaching strategies and support student learning across subjects.
Utilize digital tools and educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in parent -teacher meetings and academic reviews.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in grades 6–9, with proven success in Social Science instruction.
Strong knowledge of the SSC board curriculum and assessment standards.
Demonstrated ability to design engaging lesson plans and assess student learning effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
Commitment to student -centered learning and continuous professional development.
