Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our academic team. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students from Grade 6 to 10, covering subjects such as History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics as per the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Social Science subjects.
  

• Create a learning environment that fosters academic success and holistic development.
  

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with school curriculum and academic standards (CBSE/State Board/ICSE – specify as needed).
  

• Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and examinations.
  

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
  

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  

• Provide individual support to students where needed.
  

• Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and civic responsibility among students.
  

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
  

• B.Ed. degree is preferred.
  

• Prior teaching experience at middle or high school level (Grades 6–10).
  

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  

• Ability to engage and inspire students.
  

• Familiarity with digital tools and smart classroom teaching is a plus.
