Through our culture of making a real impact, fostering growth, embracing flexibility, and building connections, we enable them to live meaningful lives while making a difference in the world.\n\n## In one sentence\n\nThe Software \u0026 Application Packaging Specialist is responsible for the end\u2011to\u2011end packaging, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications across Amdocs\u2019 global end\u2011user computing environment.\n\n## What will your job look like?\n\n * Packaging, customizing, and deploying software applications using tools such as SCCM, Intune, and PowerShell to ensure seamless delivery to desktops, laptops, and virtual machines.\n * Maintaining the global application catalog, ensuring applications remain secure, current, and compliant with organizational standards.\n * Translating business requirements into reliable and scalable application packaging solutions.\n * Conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new packaging technologies, deployment models, and automation tools.\n * Performing advanced troubleshooting and root\u2011cause analysis for application deployment failures, collaborating with internal teams or vendors as required.\n * Creating automated workflows and scripts to streamline repetitive packaging and deployment activities.\n * Developing and maintaining high\u2011quality technical documentation, including SOPs, packaging standards, deployment guidelines, and process documents.\n * Identifying opportunities for optimization, modernization, and automation across the software distribution lifecycle.\n * Collaborating with EUC, Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure high\u2011quality deployment and a seamless user experience.\n\n\n * Using tools such as Systrack and Power BI, to measure end\u2011user experience and proactively improve application performance.\n * Collect KPIs and ensure services meet baseline standards while implementing improvements.\n * Creating Orchestration workflows for automated deployment pipelines.\n * Providing 3rd-level support for application\u2011related issues across the organization.\n\n\n\n## All you need is...\n\n * Minimum 3 years of hands\u2011on experience in software packaging and deployment using SCCM and Intune \u2013 must.\n * Proven experience with application lifecycle management, integrations, and deployments in mid\u2011to\u2011large enterprises \u2013 must.\n * Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise network protocols \u2013 advantage\n * Strong knowledge of PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) \u2013 advantage.\n * Experience with macOS and application packaging \u2013 advantage.\n * Expertise in Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/2016) installation, configuration, and support.\n * Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Visual Studio, or similar) and automation frameworks \u2013 must.\n * Strong analytical abilities for troubleshooting, forecasting, reporting, and deriving deployment insights from complex datasets.\n * Excellent written and spoken English \u2013 must.\n\n\n\n## Why you will love this job:\n\n * You will be part of a diverse, multicultural, and fast\u2011growing global organization.\n * You will gain rare opportunities to learn and innovate with cutting\u2011edge packaging and deployment technologies.\n * You will work with industry\u2011leading tools supporting large\u2011scale enterprise environments.\n * You will directly contribute to enhancing user experience and driving automation in a global IT ecosystem.\n\n\n\nAmdocs is an equal opportunity employer.
