We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the transformation of applications from Mainframe to Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in both Mainframe and Cloud technologies, and demonstrate hands-on capability to design and implement transformative solutions.

What will your job look like?

•    Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
•    Develop and maintain clean, efficient code in Python, Shell scripting, and Java for cloud-based applications.
•    Implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
•    Manage AWS environments, including setup, monitoring, and optimization.
•    Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
•    Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
•    Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
•    Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture.
•    Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

All you need is...

Requirements:
•    Proficiency in both Mainframe and Modern Technologies.
Mainframe Technologies:
•    COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, REXX, CLIST, PL1, Assembler.
•    Homegrown applications on Mainframes Architectural concepts, such as MATRIX, PBCF, CE, SY Utilities.
•    Knowledge of third-party products on Mainframe: FOCUS, SAS, ACR Summary.
•    Mainframe Schedulers: ESP, CA7.
Modern Technologies:
•    Cloud: AWS, Azure.
•    Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
•    Programming Languages: Java, Postgres, Shell Scripting, Bash, Python.
•    Schedulers: TWS, AWS Batch.
•    Security: Configuring secured data exchange between on-prem and cloud environments (TLS 1.3).
•    CI/CD Implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
•    AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
•    Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
