Software Development Engineer - AI

mavQ is seeking a motivated Software Development Engineer (AI) focused on building the data pipelines and the core engine for the AI Platform to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a focus on enterprise Data Engineering & Application Development. 

Work Location: Hyderabad, India

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Design and deploy scalable data pipelines to handle massive structured and unstructured datasets and application data 
  

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain high -throughput and reliable RESTful APIs using FastAPI and asynchronous architectures to power front -end applications.
  

• AI Integration: Bridge the gap between Data Science and Production by deploying and scaling ML models (LLMs, Computer Vision, etc.) into production environments.
  

• Database Optimization: Develop enterprise data models and optimize Cloud Storage, relational databases (postgres) and NoSQL systems (Redis) for performance and scalability, including optimizations for PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores like Redis.
  

• Cloud Ops: Build and scale "cloud -native" services on GCP/AWS, leveraging Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration and GitLab CI/CD for dev ops.
  

• Observability: Monitor system performance using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, and proactively resolve bottlenecks
  

• Quality: Ensure code quality through testing frameworks and maintain clean, modular, and well -documented codebases, and perform detailed code reviews
  

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• 3–6 years of professional experience with Python (backend and/or data engineering)
  
• B.E./B.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Strong programming fundamentals and proven track record of building microservices that handle high concurrency and enterprise API design
  
• Comfortable with Docker, K8s, and Terraform (IaC)
  
• Data Prowess and deep understanding of distributed systems, data storage and processing systems
  
• Good to have experience on orchestration tools such as Temporal, Airflow, etc 
  
• Strong problem -solving skills and ability to work in a fast -paced environment
