Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SDET with a strong foundation in Python and Pytest to join our engineering team. This role involves designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software through efficient testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Implement automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
• Conduct code reviews and actively contribute to improving test strategies and practices
• Perform continuous integration and deployment testing to ensure seamless releases
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, analyze results, and report defects with clarity

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Pytest for automation testing
• Strong understanding of automation tools and strategies
• Experience with Selenium for UI testing
• Familiarity with REST API testing, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or cloud-based test environments
• Exposure to performance testing or additional test frameworks/tools
