Software Development Senior Analyst

Test Planning and Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scripts that align with project requirements and business objectives. Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on various applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes. Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency. Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications meet performance criteria. Analyze results and provide recommendations for improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality deliverables. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends. Proactively suggest process improvements to enhance overall product quality and team efficiency. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test results. Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and outcomes. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and dependencies related to testing activities. Develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestComplete). Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
