Job Description - Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Hexpress Healthcare Softech Private Limited, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable web applications across both the backend and frontend. You will collaborate closely with cross -functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement new features. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, solid experience with PHP frameworks and JavaScript technologies, and the ability to mentor junior developers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high -quality backend and frontend applications using PHP, Yii2 and related technologies, NodeJS, and VueJS.
Collaborate with a cross -functional team to define, design and implement new features and applications.
Stay up -to -date with emerging technologies and integrate them into projects when applicable.
Write clean, secure, scalable code that meets coding standards and best practices. Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
Develop and maintain API integrations with third -party services
Programming databases, especially PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Take on multiple projects varying in size and complexity.
Self -motivated to deliver against agreed timescales through effective prioritisation and management of workload.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and provide timely solutions.
Mentor to junior developers.

Requirements

4 to 6 years of experience developing e -commerce web applications.
Strong proficiency in Core PHP, Laravel, and YII frameworks.
Understanding software design patterns and MVC frameworks behind a scalable application.
In -depth knowledge of PHP object -oriented programming.
In -depth understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL (Stored procedures, Triggers, etc.).
Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
Experience with jQuery, AJAX, Rest API, ReactJS, VueJS, and NodeJS.
Strong command of HTML5, CSS, XML, and JSON.
Awareness of various frontend, backend optimisation and caching techniques.
Experience working with third -party APIs and web services.
Basic knowledge of Web Servers like Apache, Nginx, etc.
Knowledge of best practices for platform security and Web Application Vulnerabilities.
Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology.
Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritise and multitask.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders.
