The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance software solutions for Life Sciences instruments.
This position reports to the Software team Leader and is part of the India Development Center Software R&D team located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop software for life science instruments within a collaborative team environment
Execute all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, testing, and documentation, in compliance with company QMS procedures
Perform quality assurance activities such as technical reviews and code inspections
Support software maintenance
Work in an iterative product release environment with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
1+ years of experience in commercial software development, with hands-on expertise in C# or C++
Ability to work effectively as an AI-enabled developer
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams as a strong team player
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
