Software Engineer II - C++ developer

We are looking for a driven and experienced C++ Developer having knowledge on Java to join our team, based at the Candescent in Mumbai. You will be a contributing member of a highly skilled and motivated Agile team of engineers, working on innovative solutions for the financial services market. • Develop high quality software which meets requirements, promote re-use of software components and facilitates ease of support.

• Stay current with technology and form best practices.

• Gain good understanding of design patterns.

• Practice Agile development and become familiar with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Lean principles, and the Scaled Agile Framework.

• Learn to analyze, design and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability.  Participate in code review sessions.

• Create high quality documentation, where necessary, for example functional specifications and unit test specifications.

• Practice TDD/BDD, conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plan for functional and non-functional requirements.

• Great written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years’ experience in software design and development

• experience on coding using C++

• Good to have Java 11 & Higher knowledge

• REST Web Services knowledge

• Docker and Kubernetes

• Database technologies including Oracle & PostgreSQL

• Cloud/SAAS Deployment into Google Cloud, AWS and Azure

• C++ with Linux knowledge is must

• Should have Perl & Shell scripts knowledge

• Should have knowledge of CI/CD

• Great written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
