As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible supporting quality engineering activities for D&B applications. In addition, you will work closely with a geographically distributed cross functional software development teams as well as product managers. Develop the automation framework and automate the critical and new features using the latest tools and technologies. You are a creative thinker, and you work well with others and understand the power of teamwork in order to solve problems effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the development team to ensure product quality in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Proactively drive quality through collaboration, process improvement, innovative thinking, root cause analysis and experience
- Write test plans and test cases for web applications, REST APIs, and data validation in a multi-tiered environment processing millions of rows of data
- Execute manual tests for new features and bug fixes
- Create and execute automated test cases for UI and API-level verification
- Identify, report, track, and verify issues
- Work with the support team to understand and troubleshoot customer issues
- Support the product team during by-weekly product deployments to ensure flawless releases with extreme quality
- Take ownership of projects and provide leadership for the team
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering with strong computer science fundamentals
- Total experience of 6+ years, with a minimum of 3 years in functional and automation testing
- Playwright knowledge and programming experience
- Knowledge of REST Assured
- Knowledge in Git repository management
- Strong foundation in RDBMS, SQL and automation testing (Playwright) API testing for handling complex distributed systems
